Our mission at Strategic Defense Group to train and equip the law abiding citizen with the skills necessary to defend themselves in moments of extreme danger. We do this by offering and developing some of the best courses in the industry, using best practices and industry standards. We are constantly evolving and developing our courses to ensure you are getting the best training available. We desire to offer training in all aspects and disciplines of self defense. We hope to equip everyone, even if you can not make it to one of our courses through our weekly publication: The Sharpening Stone. It is a free outreach that we can provide the citizenry. Our passion is training and learning and that passion is found in each one of our courses.
Strategic Defense Group is the brainchild of Adam Markesbery, our founder. After years of learning, studying, and living self defense with intensity, Adam founded SDG. Our courses are developed from cutting edge tactics and concepts. Continual evolution and input from fellow instructors ensure our courses are among the best available. We only use the most professional instructors, hand chosen and selected for their ability and knowledge. We are located in Northern Kentucky, but, our courses are mobile and can come to you in most instances. We are regularly creating new courses to meet your needs.
