S.T.I.M. – Strategic Threat Interdiction & Mitigation

Shooting is fun, and critical. However, without proper tactics we can not expect to apply the skills we develop on the range effectively when the time comes. Our S.T.I.M. course is conducted in a classroom environment. We prefer to abstain from the “death by power point” by using instructors that are dynamic professionals and engage you. We keep the class size small (Maximum 25 students) in order to facilitate an inviting environment for the participants, where growth and development can more easily occur.

Strategic Defense Group’s Strategic Threat Interdiction & Mitigation (S.T.I.M) Course will provide you with information and education regarding response to an active threat. Active threats far supersede that of a gun. Understanding active threats better will help you respond.

No one can tell you how you need to respond to such an event, you alone can make that decision. S.T.I.M. provides you with the knowledge to make an informed decision. The topics in this course include, but are not limited to:

  • What is an active threat
  • Personal preparations
  • Types of threats
  • Case Studies
  • Mitigation practices
  • Interdiction practices

If you or your organization would like to have us come to you for a block of instruction please see our S.T.I.M. For Organizations page.

Discounts are available for Law Enforcement, Military, Emergency personnel, and Educators. Proof of employment is required for discount, contact us for more information.
